Midwifery College Social Media
Located in Portland, Oregon, Birthingway College of Midwifery hoped to increase enrollment for the 2016-2017 academic year.
We set out to identify their audience’s needs, establish a social media voice, and become part of the greater online midwifery conversation. We started by designing an extensive online marketing survey and launching an audit to understand their community opportunities. Working closely with Birthingway’s president and IT department, we designed Google ads, paid Facebook content, and a landing page to spread the word about enrollment.
After several months of managing Birthingway’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds, including live event posting remotely, we crafted internal employee protocols around managing online training communications and designed metrics for measuring campaign successes. A seamless handover to a new employee allowed Birthingway to fully step into their social media narrative and voice.
